On February 7th,  Allen City Council Place 4 candidate,  Chris Schulmeister joined many community and business leaders to attend the State of Allen Luncheon  at the new Delta Hotel by Marriott in Allen.  Carrying the theme of “Watch Us Grow,” the luncheon celebrated the growth, accomplishments and future of the Allen community. The program included presentations from the City of Allen, the Allen Independent School District and Collin College in cooperation with the Allen-Fairview Chamber of Commerce.

Guest speakers included Allen ISD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Scott Niven, Collin College President Dr. Neil Matkin and City of Allen Mayor Steven Terrell. Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis served as the Master of Ceremony.

Chris says, “I believe that attending events such as The State of Allen Luncheon gives me an opportunity to continue to listen to and interface with Allen civic and community leaders. As I run for City Council, I want to continue to learn and better understand both the accomplishments and the future challenges facing the City of Allen.”
